Basking in the sun’s natural light, tableaus of salvaged packaging, driftwood and other ephemera pose the question what do we value and how do we define beauty. This harvesting of materials gathered along the riverbeds near my home and from the copious amount of packaging delivered to our doors, inspired me to examine what do we choose to repurpose, renew or let go. It is a call for restorative practices in our relation to the natural world, asking what remains and to what end?
This work is presented in limited edition archival digital prints.
